Two well-known people from the UK, Dan Gaskin and Richard Lewis, won in their individual categories, shining a light on their skills. Gaskin, who named Color Caster of the Year, gave his award to his brother and thanked people like James Dean and Rob Black for helping him get where he is today. Lewis, who was named Journalist of the Year, talked about how his work has changed the field of game journalism.

Esports Awards 2023: What ODEE Has Done in His Life

Michael ‘ODEE’ O’Dell won the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award, which added to Britain’s victory. This award recognized O’Dell’s important services to the e-sports community and cemented his place in the history of the sport.

Riot Games and Team Vitality both win big.

Riot Games, a big name in the gaming world, won two prestigious awards for their famous game Valorant: Esports Publisher of the Year and Esports Game of the Year. Team Vitality won the Esports Organization of the Year award, which shows how strong they are in the competitive game world. The Esports PC Player of the Year award went to the famous Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok, and the Esports Personality of the Year award went to Disguised Toast.

A Night of Magic, Glitz, and Records

Alex “Goldenboy” Mendez and Miles Ross, a dynamic duo, hosted the event and made it an electrifying environment for everyone who came. At The Esports Awards Village, the Razer-branded Lexus TX got extra attention during the event. Vikram “Vikkstar123” Singh Barn, Amablitz, Arigameplays, and Marc Merrill. Chief product officer at Riot Games, were some of the well-known guests.

Not only was there glitz and glamour, but people also tried to break records that night. Kyle ‘Bugha’ Giersdorf, a professional Fortnite player. Worked with WWE pro wrestlers Becky Lynch and Bianca Belair to try to break a world record. This was an extreme combination of games and entertainment. The show by Las Vegas magician Xavier Mortimer was even more exciting because of his magical touch.

Honoring Contributions to College Gaming with Scholars Awards

The first Scholars Awards given out by the Esports Awards as a nod to the future of gaming. The goal of these awards to recognize how brands, organizations, and colleges have made important contributions to the collegiate gaming industry. Emiliano “Durtho” Flores, a growing star in Rocket League, won the Player of the Year award. Northwood University’s Valorant team won the Team of the Year award.
